- Description
- The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Johns Hopkins University (JHU). JHU will provide Police Executive Leadership Program (PELP)training services. The PELP is a network of the most highly-regarded law enforcement executive program in the nation. The PELP possesses unique experts in the following fields of study as they relate to law enforcement, leadership and organizational behavior managing change, workplace diversity, strategic planning, ethics, managing information and telecommunication systems. Additionally, the PELP itself is a unique program consisting of law enforcement executives from which the USSS can regularly draw valuable information in a collaborative manner to support both our investigator and protective missions. There is no solicitation regarding this sole-source synopsis. Only written responses received by February 19, 2002 will be accepted. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. See Note 22 (Sole Source Award). Note 22 is modified to read 3 days in lieu of 30 days.
