- Description
- The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Quotations for the construction/reconstruction of the White River Trail No. 112, Phase I, on the Spotted Bear Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. Project consists of construction and reconstruction work over 9.4 miles of trail including clearing and grubbing, tread construction and reconstruction, waterbars, check dams, ditches, culvert, switchbacks, and turnpike construction. Some rock blasting may be necessary. This project is located within the Bob Marshall Wilderness; therefore, no wheeled or motorized equipment will be allowed except for single-wheeled, non-motorized wheelbarrows. Issue date, approximately April 19, 2002. Completion date, September 12, 2003, with an estimated Notice to Proceed date of June 12, 2002. The Government price estimate range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
