- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Center for Neutron Research (NCNR), has a requirement for the installation and placement of a boulder truck barrier around the perimeter of the NIST Center for Neutron Research Building.*** Delivery shall be FOB Destination and all work shall be completed not later than 60 days after the date of award.***The NAICS code for this requirement is 561730 with a size standard of $5.0 million dollars.***This requirement is being procured utilizing simplified acquisition procedures and is 100% set-aside for small business.***A fixed-price purchase order shall be awarded. ***The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), RFQ amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizops.gov/ under RFQ number SB1341-02-Q-0390.***One (1) technical drawing shall be made available separately via U.S. Mail. Offerors shall submit written requests for drawing number SK-1257, Perimeter Barrier for NIST Center for Neutron Research, to the attention of Carol A. Wood, Contract Specialist, by mail to the address above, fax or e-mail. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about April 9, 2002, and will only be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract.***A SITE VISIT shall be conducted on Friday, April 12, 2002. Please reference the request for quotation for site visit details.***With the exception of the technical drawing, no written solicitation document is available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
