- Description
- The Federal Medical Center (FMC)Devens, located at Devens, Massachusetts, has a requirement for contract Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services on an as needed basis. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with a possibility for four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make multiple awards for this requirement. It is estimated 120 Basic Life Transports and 180 Advanced Cardiac Life Support Transports will be needed during each twelve month period. Contractor(s) must hold a current license for ambulance services in Massachusetts and meet all governmental codes and regulations. A security investigation/clearance is required. The solicitation will be available on or after May 10, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this maner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
