- REPAIR F108 FAN AND BOOSTER ASSEMBLY (#1 MODULE) SOL F34601-02-Q-48858, Leslie Jones/LPDPA/ [405] 739-5495. A commercial, requirements type contract with a basic and 4 option periods. Item 0001 Input/Output NSN 2840-01-139-6655RV P/N: 301-285-260-0and/or NSN 2840-01-2840-01-437-8324PN P/N 301-285-260-0-2A. Basic Year BEQ 17 EA, Option Year I BEQ 19 EA, Option Year II BEQ 17 EA, Option Year III BEQ 21 EA, Option Year IV BEQ 22 EA. Applicable to: F108 Engines. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 4 to 5 each every 90 days after receipt of order and reparables. Item description: The fan and booster assembly consists of a fan disk, blades and vanes and shrouds that direct air into the engine. It is approximately 77 inches tall and 37 inches long. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Additional information concerning the qualification requirements may be obtained from: OC-ALC/BC, 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AG85A, TINKER AFB OK 73145-3009, 405-739-7243. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. An Initial Production Evaluation may be required. The approximate issue date is 12 APR 2002 and the estimated response date is 03 MAY 2002. The anticipated award date is 03 JUN 2002. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. To: GE Engine Services, Cincinnati OH 45215-6301. It is anticipated that award will be made on General Electric commercial BOA F34601-01-G-0003. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
