Description

This presolicitation notice/procurement replaces the previous release M67854-02-R-6041, dated 1 April 2002. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the supplies required and provide elaboration on the requirement. THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to compete a commercial item contract for the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL). The contractor will be responsible for supplying the following: Cisco Internet Protocol Phone, Model 7940 (REFURBISHED) with warranty, 41 each; Unity Server, Dell 2500C, 1 each; Unity Unified Messaging (UM) (100 user), 1 each; Secure Access Unit (SAU) Secure Voice Communications (SVC) Unity UM12 Port, 1 each; SAU SVC Unity UM-4 Port, 1 each; Serial Tracking Number (SNT) Warranty Service, 1 each; Catalyst 6000 24 Port FXS Analog Station Interface Module (refurbished), 1 each; Scalar 100 Advanced Intelligent Tape (AIT), 24 data slots, 2 mailbox slots, 1 each; Scalar 100 AIT-2 Drive Module, Low Velocity Differential, 2 drives per sled, 1 each; Tape Cartridges, AIT-2, 230 Meg, 100 Gigabyte, 10 pack, 2 each; Wireless Bridge, 350 series, 11 Mbps, Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum Bridge with 128-bit wireless encryption privacy, 2 each; Line cord, 2 each; Antenna, 13.5 dBi Yagi Mast Mount, 2 each; Service Contract, 8 hours by 5 days by next business day, 350 series, 11 Mbps:DSS Bridge with 128-bit, 2 each; Lightning Arrestor with Grounding Ring, 2 each; and, Interface cable HD68/HD68, 6 feet, universal, 1 each. These brands are required due to MCWL equipment interoperability. No installation services shall be required as part of this procurement, and no training is required. The above items shall be delivered by 30 April 2002, and shall be deployed for experimentation at the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Quantico, VA., and during experiments at other sites. Contract award shall be in accordance with FAR Part 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52-212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; and 52-219-1 Alt I, Small Business Program Representations. In accordance with FAR Provision 52.212-2, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.
