Description

This is a combined synopsis/Request for Proposal (RFP) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and therefore, a formal solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Proposals are solicited with this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-3. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following: 8 EACH, MULTIVIEWER VIDEO SCREEN SPLITTER; ANALOG; 16 INPUT; RACK MOUNTABLE (1RU); DISPLAYS UP TO 16 ASYNCHRONOUS ANALOG VIDEO SOURCES IN REAL TIME: FULL SCREEN OR SPOT DISPLAY OF ANY INPUT; OUTPUTS TO NTSC OR PAL ANALOG VIDEO; FULL SCREEN VGA OUTPUT; POWER REQTS; 120VAC, 50/60HZ. The Manufacturer of these items is ZANDAR TECHNOLOGIES PLC. with a part number of MX-16. and 16 EACH, TIME BASED CORRECTOR, DUAL CHANNEL; TWO INDEPENDENT TBC?s MOUNTED IN A SINGLE FRAME; EACH TBC?s INPUT INCLUDE: COMPOSITE VIDEO, DUB (s-video), Y/C; EACH TBC?S OUTPUT INCLUDE: COMPOSITE VIDEO, DUB (S-VIDEO) Y/C GENLOCK INPUT IS LOOPING OR INDEPENDENT FOR EACH CHANNEL; RACK MOUNTABLE (I RU); INPUT SIGNAL IS TRANSCODED TO ALL OUTPUTS REGARDLESS OF INPUT TYPE; INCLUDES SERVICE/OPERATION MANUALS; POWER REQTS; 120VAC, 50/60HZ. The Manufacturer of these items is Prime Image Inc. with a part number of 2X. Deliver FOB destination to TASA , Television Audio Support Activity, 4895 Parker Ave ? Bldg 783T, McClellan CA 95652 This procurement is set aside for exclusive participation of Small Businesses. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The brand name and part number are provided for reference only. Offerors proposing to provide other than the requested items shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered items to meet the requirements stated above. The applicable NAICS code is 334220, size standard of 750 employees. However, all proposals received at the time established for the receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 9 APRIL 2002, 4:00 PM PDT.
