Description

Sandia National Laboratories is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a refurbishment project entitled: Refurbishing Three Solar Thermal Projects at MCB Camp Lejeune: Domestic Hot Water System for Showers at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The purpose of this RFQ will be to issue a contract to refurbish three solar water heating systems for the purpose of demonstrating the feasibility of using solar technology for large scale hot water production on a military facility. A contractor is needed to refurbish these three existing non-working solar systems. Sandia will be responsible for collecting performance data and reporting the results to the US Marine Corps. The contract to be awarded under this solicitation is expected to cover the refurbishment of three separate solar systems and will be completed within a six month period. We anticipate issuing the RFQ April 23, 2002.
