- THE RFP RELEASE DATE FOR THE BELOW HAS CHANGED. PLEASE NOTE NEW DATES!!! This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for a full and open competition. This solicitation will only be released and available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Accordingly, NO written, telephone, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. The Government anticipates issuing a Solicitation on or about 04/30/02 by posting it on the website www.fedbizopps.gov. Estimated proposal due date is on or about 06/15/02, with an estimated award date of 08/31/02. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it will be the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps.gov website for both the solicitation and any solicitation amendments. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for technical support services in support of the Office of Policy. Under this effort, the contractor will provide all necessary facilities, materials, equipment, and personnel and shall perform all services necessary to provide systems engineering and technical support assistance to projects addressing a broad range of interrelated highway policy issues. All research areas are data intensive and require up-to-date information technology and forecasting abilities. All questions, comments, or concerns, shall be e-mailed to Tim Davis, Contract Specialist, at Timothy.Davis@fhwa.dot.gov. The FHWA anticipates making multiple awards as a result of this solicitation. The FHWA anticipates that the resulting contracts will be Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts from which Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) task orders will be issued. The estimated period of performance is 5 years. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 541330, Engineering Services.
