- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DTCG80-02-Q-3FAE60. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a request for quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-06. The NAICS code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $5,000,000.00. In accordance with 19.5 this action is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The acquisition is: ITEM 0001: Lodging Requirements. The Contractor shall provide quality temporary lodging, for 21 Coast Guard personnel within a 10-mile radius of Norfolk Ship Repair & Drydock Co., Inc., Foot of Clairborne Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23504, for twenty-eight (28) days. Check-in is April 15, 2002. Check-out is May 13, 2002. Provide three (3)single occupancy and nine (9)double occupancy rooms for Coast Guard personnel during this period. Commercial Standard: All lodging facilities must meet, at a minimum, the requirements for a Mobil Travel Guide Rating of two stars or AAA Diamond Rating of two diamonds and include free parking for one (1) vehicles. Lodging will include daily cleaning, change of linen, and replenishment of toiletries. Lodging facility shall meet the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 (PL101-391) and be listed on the Hotel-Motel Master List. The following provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated be reference. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items (Oct 2000). Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (FEB 2002), with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items (FEB 2002) applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items (DEC 2001) applies to this acquisition. Check the clauses in paragraph (b) as follows: (5), (7), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (21) and (24). Check the clauses in paragraph (c) as follows: (1) and (2). For paragraph 2, the equivalent classes of service employees and rates for federal hires are as follows: Front Desk Clerk: $10.16. Wage Determination #1994-2543, Revision #27, dated 05/31/2001 applies to this acquisition. No other additional contractual terms and conditions are applicable. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating are assigned. Quotes are due on or before April 10, 2002 by 4:00 p.m. EST.
