- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a presolicitation notice only. The solicitation will be posted on 22 APR 2002. Technical data will be provided with the solicitation. NSN: 4920-01-154-8808RN, NOUN: Engine Maintenance Fixture, P/N: 3C3199, Qty: 2. Further synopsis information is as follows: Predominant material--Steel Alloy, Size/Dimension--18" Diameter x 4.0" Thick. Used during build-up of augmenter to position the mixer, liner, outer duct and fuel manifold to assure proper assembly of augmenter. Steel; black oxide coated for corrosion protection. Acquisition will be a 100% small-business set-aside. Local Note "B" applies. Note: "B" OMBUDSMAN All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
