- Description
- This is a Combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N49399-02-T- 0093 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov and www.acq.osd.mil. This is a total small business competitive action. The Command Navy Region North East requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: Item 0001?Portable Electric Steam Cleaner c old-hot pressure wash 600 PSI temperatures up to 160 degrees fahrenheit; steam clean 100-200 PSI temperatures up to 325 degrees fahrenheit;volume 35 gallons per hour electric motor 1 ? horsepower, 460 voltz, 60 hertz, 3 phase, 30 amperes belt driven pump; control nozzle (trigger gun), with quick connect color coded wash tips. (0, 15, 25, & 40); thermal control; adjustable low water safety cut off; high temperature limit safety protection high pressure relief valve; stainless steel float tank capacity ? 5 gallons of solution: hose; 50 feet ?3/8 inch tricycle wheel arrangement with rubber wheels; 38 inches high, 24 inches wide, 24 inches deep, 10 gauge steel Item 0002- 15 each 100 foot vapor hoses. The functional equipment is required F.O.B. Destination by 07 July 2002. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. Place of Delivery is Supply Operations, Bldg. 493, Naval Submarine Base NLON, Groton, CT. 06349. Quotation shall include as a minimum: Unit Price FOB Destination, a point of contact name and phone number, payment terms, and all provision information called for in 52.212-3. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items. 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Clauses checked under 52.212-5 are: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the resultant order. Additional contract terms and conditions applicable to this procurement are: DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Re quired to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commerical Items (no clauses checked) 252.204-7001 Commcercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
