Description
NA This is a notification of a sole procurement for Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Marine Corps intends to issue a sole source contract to CACI, 14111 Park MEADOW drive, CHANTILLY , Va. 20151, for the following. Item 0001. Federal DOD Promina 800 Operations and Maintenance course. Contractor to provide on-site nine (9) day P-800 Series Operations (5) days and Maintenance (4) days training for twenty (20) Marines to include training material, training equipment, and instructor travel. Item 0002. Promina 800 Special Code Load Course. Contractor to provide a two (2) day on-site Special Code Load course for 10 students to be conducted immediately following the Promina 800 Operations and Maintenance course. For item 0001 Contract to cover the period 29 April 2002 thru 09 May 2002. Item 0002 is for the period 1 0 May and 13 May 2002. Award will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611420. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for an item for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Anticipated award date for this is 26 April 2002. Offers are due by 15 April 2002 @ 4:00 PST. Federal express should be sent to Contracting Division, Bldg 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. 92005. Attn: Gloria Muchemore. All offers not sent through the US Postal Service will be considered to be hand carrier and direct delivered. Hand carried offers must be delivered To Bldg 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. Direct delivery of offers is only possible during weekdays, excluding Federal Holidays, between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.. Mailed or faxed copy offers must be received no later than 4:00 P. PST, on15 April 2002. Faxed offers should be addressed to Gloria Muchemore 760-725-8445 or (760) 725-4346, and should clearly state the solicitation number on the first page to insure receipt. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that al l pages of the quote reach the designated office before the deadline specified in this solicitation. The quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received.
