Description

This announcement is an official sources sought announcement. The National Institutes of Health (NIH)/Vaccine Research Center (VRC) has a potential need for pharmacology and toxicology testing of certain select agent genetic material. SAIC Frederick, Inc. has been designated to solicit sources and serve as the primary point of contact. The intent of this notice is to identify potential vendors with the necessary capabilities to successfully provide the required services. The Contractor must currently possess select agent certification granted by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Ebola, Marburg, and/or Lassa genetic material (BSL-2) and be able to conduct the following pharmacology and toxicology tests: Biodistribution, Toxicity, and Integration. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a commitment by the Government at this time. In order to identify potential vendors and verify the possession of the required certification, interested parties, with the necessary capabilities and qualifications, are invited to respond by calling the designated point of contact and providing your business's name and select agent certification number for verification.
