Description: NA This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the furnishing of GATE ANCHORAGE ASSEMBLIES, ANCHOR ARM ASSEMBLIES, PINTLE BASES AND SOCKETS and SECTOR GEAR AND RACK ASSEMBLIES for miter gates at various Locks on the Ohio River. The Louisville District, Corps o f Engineers, administrates these Locks. This Contract includes but not limited to the making of mold patterns, casting and forging the various parts, milling and machining of the specified parts, Quality Control Testing and Acceptance, painting, part ident ification and packaging. The majority of these parts, components, assemblies, etc., are made from raw materials. The GATE ANCHORAGE ASSEMBLIES consist of Anchorage Casting, Rear plate, Anchor Studs, Nuts, Washers and Sleeves. The ANCHOR ARM ASSEMBLIES c onsist of Adjustable Anchor Arms ?A? and ?B?, Gudgeon Pin, Gudgeon Bushing, Anchor Pin, Link Pin, Gudgeon and Link Pin Adjusting Rings and Gudgeon, Link and Anchor Pin Keeper Plates and other Misc. Materials. The PINTLE BASES AND SOCKETS consists of the ca sting of Pintle Bases and Sockets. The SECTOR GEAR AND RACK ASSEMBLIES consists of Sector Gear, Sector Arm, Sector Gear and Arm Bushings, Sector Rack Support, Rack sections and connections and other Misc. Materials. The Contractor shall crate all items as indicated in the Specifications and deliver all the completed parts and assemblies to the Louisville Repair Station (LRS), Louisville, KY. NOTE: This contract is 100% set aside for SMALL BUSINESS. NAICS CODE: 332111. This RFQ has an approximate issu e date of 30 APR 02 and an approximate due date of 9 MAY 02.
