Description

This project consists of hot mix asphalt resurfacing of the bridge decks and approaches on the South Fork Payette River Bridge #025NB-0.1, North Fork Boise River Bridge #327-34.2 and Crooked River Bridge #328-0.1 on the Boise National Forest. The work shall include removal of existing surfaces and removal of the excessive native material (dirt) buildup on the bridge decks and this work shall be done carefully to minimize delivery of pavement and native material into the streams. The work shall also include temporary traffic control, specifically providing signs and flagger(s) in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Project location: All bridges can be accessed from Highway 21, which starts in Boise, Idaho. The Crooked River Bridge #328-0.1 is located at Mile Post 0.1 on Rd. 328. Take Highway 21 to about Mile Post 56.5, turn right at the Edna Creek Campground on Rd. 384 and proceed 2.4 miles to Rd. 328. To access the North Fork Boise River Bridge #327-34.2 continue on Rd. 384 (about 14 total miles from Highway 21) to the junction with Rd. 327. Turn left and proceed (for about 5 miles) to Mile Post 34.2. The South Fork Payette River Bridge #025NB-0.1 is located at Mile Post 0.1 on Rd. 025B, which is just off Highway 21 at about Mile Post 85.5. NAICS code: 234120. Size standard $27.5 million. Estimated start date is 07/08/2002 with 60 calendar days for completion. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside. The previous synopsis was posted March 25, 02, Solicitation is now being posted.
