- Description
- The Immigration and Naturalization Service, Dallas, Texas is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation ACD-2-Q-0016 is being issued as a "Request for Quotation" and shall be referenced on any quotation. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. The NAICS code is 336413 with a business standard of 1,000 employees. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This contract action will result in a single award Firm-Fixed Price contract. CLIN 0001: P/N 369D211122-501 New Main Rotor Blades for MD600N helicopter; Guaranteed minimum 12 each/Maximum quantity 24 each $._________ each. Delivery is to be FOB destination to the U.S. Border Patrol Air Operations, 9C Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX 79906. Delivery shall be within 90 days after award of the contract/ issuance of delivery order(s). The guaranteed minimum shall be ordered on the awarded contract. Any additional blades will be ordered on delivery orders. Inspection and acceptance shall also occur at the destination. Orders may be placed by either the issuing office or the El Paso Air operations. Pricing shall be in effect for 12 months after award of the contract. Reference JAR 2852.201-70: The Contracting Officer's Technical Representative will be Bruce Dawson (915 782-4450) of the El Paso Air Operations. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 12.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the most advantageous offer to the Government, price and other factors considered. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm's DUNS number. applies to this acquisition with the following additional clauses. The Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Acquisition Regulation Clause, 2852.233-70-PROTEST FILED DIRECTLY WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (JAN 1998) and FAR 52.233-3-Protest After Award.
