Description

ISSUE DATE: APRIL 22, 2002. Contractor shall provide an upgrade to and expansion of the security access control system currently in use at the USCG District One offices in the John F. Williams Federal Building, Boston, MA. Contractor shall upgrade the current access control software version and computer system to reflect the new requirement to host additional card readers and badging capabilities as well as a change from magnetic swipe to proximity cards. No outside monitoring of this system is required. Contractor shall provide a video-imaging suite with printer for proximity badging. Video imaging must have multiple design capabilities in order to allow for a specific design on the ID badge and shall be integrated into the access control software. NAICS code is 561621, with a size standard of $10.5 Million. This is a Commercial Item Services Acquisition issued in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. Solicitation packages will be available on APRIL 22, 2002, and may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.eps.gov . Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this web site. Solicitation documents are also available from RI Blueprint, 335 Webster Ave., Cranston, RI 02920.
