Description

NA On or about 29 April 2002, The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha District will issue a Request for Quotation to REPLACE MOTOR OPERATED DISCONNECT SWITCHES-BIG BEND POWER PLANT; FORT THOMPSON, SD. Quotations will be received on or about 29 May 2002 . This solicitation is unrestricted and open to both large and small business participation. NAICS: 335931 - FSC: 5930. Supply and delivery of a seven 230kV, motor operated, outdoor, high voltage air disconnect and grounding switches. Supply and deli very of associated bus support insulators. Services to include removal and proper disposal of existing Swaegerwood air switches and associated bus support insulators. Services shall also include installation of new switches, line connections, additional auxiliary switches, modifications, adjustments, electrical and functional tests. The estimated contract amount is $200,000 - $400,000. The solicitation will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. All solicitation documents and amendments thereto will be posted to the Omaha District's Advertised Solicitation Web Site at http://ebs-nwo.wes.army.mil. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to check the web site for any amendments.
