- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F26600-02-QA028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12 and 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. This solicitation is Unrestricted. The Standard Industry Classification System (SIC) for this solicitation is 3842 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113. The item description is as follows: Biological/Chemical Protective Clothing and Equipment including Clin 0001 Nitrile Gloves (see Attachment 2), Clin 0002 Low Maintenance Full Face Respirator (see Attachment 2), Clin 0003 Respirator Cartridges (see Attachment 2), Clin 0004 Level B Total Body Coverall (see Attachment 2), Clin 0005 Level C Total Body Coverall (see Attachment 2), Clin 0006 Latex Over-boot (see Attachment 2), Clin 0007 Respirator Powdered Air Purifying (PAPR) Assembly (see Attachment 2), Clin 0008 Coveralls (see Attachment 2), Clin 0009 Level B Total Body Coverall Saranexl (see Attachment 2), Clin 0010 Butyl Gloves (see Attachment 2) Subject items are listed as ?Brand names or equal? and ?or equal? items shall be accompanied with a product data sheet with enough information that shows the item is an equal. The entire solicitation, including: Offeror Representations and Certifications (Attachment 1) and Items and Quantities (Attachment 2), Past Performance Evaluation Questionnaire (Attachment 3) will be released on the Federal Government Electronic Posting Systems (EPS) site, http://eps.gov. Amendments will be posted on the affected solicitation page EPS site. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Offerors must include with their quotation a product data sheet for any ?or equal? items along with a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items, which is an attachment to this solicitation. Offerors who fail to complete and submit Representation and Certification and Specifications data may be considered non-responsive. For solicitations issued after 1 Jun 98, all contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) to be awarded a Government contract. If not already registered, you should immediately register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com. Contractors are required to have a Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS) in order to be registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration may make an offeror ineligible for award. A contractor can receive a DUNS number by calling Dun & Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505. Internet registration takes approximately 72 hours. Mail-in registration takes approximately 30 days.
