- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies. Award will be based on best value to the Government, taking into consideration delivery, price and price related factors. Award will be made to the lowest price Offeror best demonstrating the ability to satisfy the technical capabilities of the items specified. Offerors of any equal must provide descriptive literature to this office for evaluation prior to close out date stated above. Offerors are encouraged to include information regarding these evaluation factors in their quotes. All line items will be awarded on a single purchase order. Interested offerors are requested to submit a quotation on this requirement to: 314th Contracting Squadron, 642 Thomas Avenue, Little Rock AFB AR 72099-4971 or FAX to: (501) 987-8119. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (website: http://ccr2000.com) or by calling and registering prior to receiving award: (888) 352-9333. Instructions of Offerors for Commercial Items, FAR Part 52.212-1 applies. Evaluation for Commercial Items, FAR Part 52.212-2, will be used to evaluate items as consistent with below stated description of requirements. Contractor/vendor will submit a completed copy of the FAR Part 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Oct 2000). Contract Terms and Conditions for Commercial Items, FAR Part 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders for Commercial Items, FAR Part 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition. FAR Part 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment (Aug 1996) is incorporated by reference. Shipping is FOB Destination: Little Rock AFB AR. Quote must be received by close of business, 4:00 PM CST, and may be received by FAX or e-mail to Points of Contracts as listed on this notice not later than the response date as stated above. . DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS: AC-47: Provide one (1) AC-47 for static display on 1 and 2 June 2002. The AC-47 will be available to Little Rock Air Force Base from 1:00 p.m. 31 May 2002 to 4:00 p.m. 2 June 2002 as detailed in the contract to support the Little Rock Air Force Base Air Show. The pilot of the AC-47 shall be available for media interviews, autographs, and crowd interaction. B-17: Provide Little Rock Air Force Base one (1) B-17 for a 30 minute aerial demonstration on 1 and 2 June 2002. The B-17 will also be a static display on 1 and 2 June 2002. The B-17 will be available to Little Rock Air Force Base from 1:00 p.m. 31 May 2002 to 4:00 p.m. 2 June 2002 as detailed in the contract to support the Little Rock Air Force Base Air Show. The B-17 pilot/performer will be available for media interviews, autographs, and crowd interaction 31 May 2002 to 2 June 2002. P-47: Provide one (1) P-47 for static display on 1 and 2 June 2002; and 30 minute aerial demonstration on 1 and 2 June 2002. The P-47 will also participate in one (1) seven minute Heritage flight each day of the Air Show. The P-47 will be available to Little Rock Air Force Base from 1:00 p.m. 31 May 2002 to 4:00 p.m. 2 June 2002 as detailed in the contract to support the Little Rock Air Force Base Air Show. The P-47 pilot will be available for media interviews, autographs, and crowd interaction 31 May 2002 to 2 June 2002. P-51: Provide one (1) P-51 for static display on 1 and 2 June 2002; and 10 minute aerial demonstration on both 1 and 2 June 2002. The P-51 will also participate in one (1) seven minute Heritage flight each day of the Air Show. The P-51 will be available to Little Rock Air Force Base from 1:00 p.m. 31 May 2002 to 4:00 p.m. 2 June 2002 as detailed in the contract to support the Little Rock Air Force Base Air Show. The P-51 pilot will be available for media interviews, autographs, and crowd interaction 31 May 2002 to 2 June 2002. T-28: provide one (1) T-28 for static display on 1 and 2 June 2002; and a 9 minute aerial demonstration on both 1 and 2 June 2002. The T-28 will be available to Little Rock Air Force Base from 1:00 p.m. 31 May 2002 to 4:00 p.m. 2 June 2002 as detailed in the contract to support the Little Rock Air Force Base Air Show. - The T-28 pilot will be available for media interviews, autographs, and crowd interaction 31 May 2002 to 2 June 2002
