- Description
- The US Army TACOM-ARDEC is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for a Model Based Control Upgrade and Lathe Development. This requirement is for the upgrade and enhancements for ease-of-use for the existing TACOM-ARDEC Model Based Control (MBC) Executor and for the development of the necessary abstractions and extensions to the existing MBC executor for a demonstration of model based control for a lathe application. 1) The contractor will use the existing MBC executor and incorporate features and capabilities into the system to enable the process engineer more flexibility in creating and modifying recipes for the process control of a ?shock precipitation? crystallization process for energetic materials. 2) The contractor will also use the existing MBC executor and component framework to develop a MBC application for a lathe that will have the ability to incorporate at a minimum three process control models.
