Description
NAICS Code: 339111 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with Leco Corporation, 3000 Lakeview Avenue, St. Joseph, MI 49085, for P/N 710-029, Upgrade Kit for Pegasus II to Pegasus III and P/N PEG-10-1YR, One year full service agreement covering all labor, parts and travel for all Pegasus II repairs. The EPA has identified Leco Corporation,the only firm capable of satisfying requirements stated above i.e. FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfying Agency requirements". Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit written qualification statements, fully explaining their capability no later than 15 days after the date of this publication. The intent of this notice is to determine if any other source(s) exist, and therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response failing to provided the aforementioned data and instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored. Submit response to the U.S. EPA, Attn: Pamela E. Smith (E105-02), RTP/Procurement Operation Division, Research Triangle Park, NC 27711. No telephonic or faxed request will be honored.
