- SUBJECT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS-SIR IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: <P> FIRST: The NAISC is changed FROM: 233320 (Size standard not to exceed $28.5M.) <P> TO: NAISC 332312 (Size standard not to exceed 500 employees.) <P> SECOND: As a result in the change of the NAISC subject SIR is extended through 22 Apr 02. <P> Note that this requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. <P> Request for Qualifications Screening Information Request (SIR) DTFA-02-01-R-19228 <P> Responses to the below are required to be received by the issuing office not later than close of business 07 Mar 02 (4:30 P.M. CST). Also, see the attached document titled “ASDE-3 Self-Supporting Tower Specification” for the technical information pertaining to this Request for Qualifications SIR. <P> On or about 04 Apr 02, the FAA will solicit small business proposals, on an all or none basis, for the furnishing of two (2) self-supporting radar tower requirements to be erected at the Federal Aviation Administration, Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Note that the previously identified NAISC in the initial Request for Information issued in the FAA Contract Opportunities on 01 Oct 01 is hereby corrected to read; from NAISC 334511 to 233320. This equipment is used in direct support of the NAS and is critical to ensure the safety of the flying public. Therefore, it has been determined that only those small business firms meeting the following minimum pre-qualification requirements, will be invited to submit proposals: <P> 1. Firms must be regularly engaged in the design and fabrication of antenna towers. <P> 2. Firms must have been in continuous business for at least the past three years. <P> 3. Firms must demonstrate, through at least three creditable references, that they possess the necessary business acumen to successfully produce the items, in a fully satisfactory manner. <P> Small business firms meeting all of the above requirements, and interested in receiving a Request for Offer (RFO) should forward their written responses to the issuing office listed below. It will be the sole responsibility of the individual firms, to conclusively demonstrate to the Government's satisfaction that they meet the specified minimum qualification requirements. The Contracting Officer's decision, as to those qualified to participate will be final. <P> Firms determined to have met all of the pre-qualification criteria will be invited to respond to a subsequent RFO.
