Description
This is a synopsis for ship repair under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is DTCG80-02-Q-3FAF08. Award will be made to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611. The small business size standard is less than 1,000 employees. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, and competence necessary to perform homepier dockside repairs to the USCGC MARIA BRAY (WLM 562), a 175 foot coastal Buoy Tender. note: There are no contractor services provided at the COast Guard facility. The cutter?s homepier is located in Atlantic Beach, FL. Work items include but not limited to the following base and options items: Base items: (1) Inspect various deck fittings and renew one D-ring tie down. (2) Preserve Buoy Deck (3) Travel and Per Diem. Option items: (1) Composite Labor Rate. The performance period is 15 days and is expected to begin 22 April 2002. All reference documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Program. Small businesses are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirements.
