Description
This posting is for the synopsis of solicitation F32605-02-R-0006. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Contractor to supply all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to maintain the Land Mobile Radio system and corresponding equipment. This trunked radio system and equipment will be maintained according to manufacturers' specifications IAW the Statement of Work and specifications at Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND. This solicitation is anticipated to be set-aside for small businesses in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. IAW FAR Part 19, this acquisition will also be considered for a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business set-aside. Any HUBZone businesses interested in this acquisition who have experience in the maintenance of a trunked land mobile radio network and associated equipment must notify this office no later than 3 May 02. HUBZone businesses will be required to submit paperwork verifying current or past experience, within the last 3 years, and a copy of the Small Business Association certification of their HUBZone status. This information should be sent to A1C Matthew Hancsarik, either by mail or e-mail. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811213 with a size standard of $6.0 million. Any technical literature submitted needs to clearly communicate the offeror's understanding and compliance with the minimum requirements set forth in the specifications or any alternative proposal submitted in response to this RFQ. Discussions may or may not be held with offeror's; therefore, each offeror's initial proposal should be complete and accurate. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offeror eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. We estimate the solicitation will be issued on 15 May 2002. This solicitation will be posted electronically at http://www.eps.gov therefore no paper copies will be sent. In addition response to this notice is not required, unless you are a HUBZone small business. The basic contract will be from 1 Oct 02 to 30 Sep 03 and will include four one-year option periods. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database or their proposal will not be considered for award.
