Description

NA PROJECT TITLE AND LOCATION: Lake Kaweah Spillway Enlargement, Contract 2, Terminus Dam, Tulare County, California. THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT IS UNRESTRICTED. JOB DESCRIPTION: Project involves rock excavation and construction of reinforced concrete water intake structure, conduit, wetwell, and six 21-foot tall fusegates at the Spillway of Terminus Dam (Lake Kaweah), California. Work also includes construction of an 800-foot levee, a boat ramp extension, a marina anchorage system, minor utility relocation s, demolition of restrooms, construction of a new restroom and relocation of a water treatment plant. NAICS CODE: 234990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $28,500,000.00. Large business competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219 -9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, and 5.0% for small business/wome n owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.
