- NA SOURCES SOUGHT/MARVEY SURVEY NOTICE. The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir, VA is seeking industry sources for the Pathfinder Software Development, Deployment, Support and Product Maintenance requirement. The objective of this eff ort is to develop, deploy, support, and maintain future versions of Pathfinder. The evolution of Pathfinder from a Solaris based X-Windows system to a Microsoft Operating System (2000/NT/XP) compatible client application communicating with a Unix/Linux se rver is a primary goal. This effort will focus on developing, improving, and supporting Pathfinder on current and future distributed multi-tasking computing environments in use within the defense and the Intelligence Community (IC). The work performed is for the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), Charlottesville, VA. The scope of this contract involves the continued development of future versions of Pathfinder and all aspects of Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) necessary to ens ure the government receives fully functional and government owned intelligence analysis applications, algorithms, and software. The further development of Pathfinder shall cover the acquisition and pre-processing of data, methods for accommodating multipl e formats, analytical tools and methods, collaboration, communicating analytical results, the development of reference tools, and improving the connectivity between local and remote users in the Intelligence Community. The scope also includes delivery of Pathfinder as it is developed and the performance of surveys of computer hardware and software designated by the Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR) that may be applicable to the development of Pathfinder and the advantages and disadvantages of usin g commercial software in this development effort. Travel outside the continental United States may include, but is not be limited to, the United Kingdom, Germany, Hawaii, Japan, and South Korea. The contractor must be located within 15 miles of the Natio nal Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), Charlottesville, VA. Contractor personnel assigned to work under this contract shall have a Top Secret clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation at time of contract award. By the date of contract awa rd, contractor personnel who will be working on this contract must meet the Director, Central Intelligence Directive 1/14 (DID-1/14) eligibility requirements. The DCID-1/14 requirements are determined by the United States Army Personnel Security Clearance Facility. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary security clearances for contractor personnel. Capability statements may be e-mailed to Lisa Grant at lpgrant@vulcan.belvoir.army.mil.
