Description
NA The U.S. Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Drum, New York. The proposed contract is for one base year and four option years. The local exchange service provider certified by the St ate of New York shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Drum, New York. Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, ISDN BRI, data point-to-point circuits, directory number and number portability, and local and Intra-LATA access. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged a nd/or a women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees and under NAICS 51331 and 51333. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. The solicitation will be released on or about April 17, 2002. The solicitation is only available electronically and may be viewed and downloaded from the Interagency Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) located at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at Fort Drum, New York, on May 2, 2002 at 9:00 10690 S. Memorial Drive, Fort Drum, New York, for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. The conference will be from 9:00-10:30 (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:30 ? 12:00. Those wishing to attend the conference shall submit a list of all attendees (not to exceed 3 per company) to Commander, Army Signal Command, A TTN: AFSC-LOO (Kim Wentrcek), Bldg 61801, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613-5000, (520) 538-6115, kimberly.wentrcek@hqasc.army.mil prior to April 25, 2002. The list shall include full names of attendees and position titles. A copy of the individual?s photo I D must be included with the request to attend the pre-proposal conference. Additionally, for security purposes, attendees must be prepared to show photo identification when entering the Fort Drum, New York. All contractual questions/issues must be direc ted to Ms. Kim Wentrcek at the above address.
