- **CHANGE NOTICE** INTERESTED PARTIES MUST SUBMIT RESPONSES WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE DATE OF THIS NOTICE. The Government intends to issue Solicitation N65236-02-R-0059 as a sole source commercial item contract to Applanix, L.L.C., Houston, TX for services to integrate two (2) GPS Joint Program Office (JPO) approved GPS Receiver Application Module (GRAM-S) receiver cards into the Position Orientation System for Marine Vessels (POS/MV) system. Applanix, L.L.C.is the sole developer and manufacturer of the POS/MV system. The POS/MV is a system that provides position, attitude and heading for oceanographic survey vessels operated by the Naval Oceanographic Office. POS//MV systems are currently installed and operational on 8 ships and 12 hydrographic survey launches. Applanix has reserved proprietary rights to POS/MV system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The applicable NAICS is 334220. The anticipated period of performance will be approximately three months.
