- Description
- Hill AFB intends to procure by the hour plus parts replacement system maintenance on the Monitor Dynamics Inc Card Access Control and Closed Circuit Television CAC/CCTV system in Bldg 891. Maintenance shall be remedial maintenance for all hardware, firmware, and software associated with the CAC and the CCTV system. Response time shall be within two hour. Remedial maintenance shall be provided by the contractor as required seven days a week twenty four hours a day with no additional cost to the government for travel time or for services during nights, weekends or holiday. Contractor is responsible to apply for a National Agency Check (NAC) background investigation for each contractor employee expecting to have unescorted access into the bldg. Contractor shall furnish his one work space outside the confines of Hill AFB. All field maintenance technicians/engineers shall be trained in the maintenance of the specific or equivalent equipment. Training shall include an OEM maintenance course or equivalent offered by another source. Replacement parts shall only be OEM parts. Any parts removed will become property of the US GOVERNMENT. The government shall maintain an inventory of backup spare parts for the CAC system and the contractor shall maintain an inventory of spare parts for the necessary repair of the CCTV equipment. Contractor to provide a certification of site and equipment prior to beginning maintenance. Equipment that cannot be repaired on site shall be exchanged by the contractor with contractor-owned equipment. This is for a basic and 4 one year options. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
