- Description
- Architect-Engineer services for the 911th AW, Coraopolis PA 15108. Anticipated contract will be an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contract where the work will be required on an "as-needed" basis. The period for the contract is for one year with an option to extend for four (4) additional one-year option periods. The contract's maximum monetary limit is $750,000 per year, with a minimum of $5,000 guaranteed during the life of the contract, and against which individual orders up to $299,000 may be written during the life of the contract. Work includes site investigation, calculations, cost estimates, design specification and drawings for various architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, sanitary and environmental work, generally for repair, maintenance and alteration (new construction) type projects. The initial proposed project is intended to be "Relocate 4160 Volt Primary Underground." A&E firms should not limit their work experience or qualifications to the initial proposed project. The initial project is not necessarily typical of the total contract work. Evaluations will be based upon the criteria listed at FAR 36.602-1, DFARS 236.602-1(a)(6), and AFFARS 5336,602-1. No contract for the construction of a project shall be awarded to the firm that designed the project or its subsidiaries or affiliates, except with the approval of the head of the agency or authorized representative. Firms responding with 30 calendar days after publication shall be considered. Estimated contract start date is September 2002. See Numbered Note 24.*****
