- Description
- The Combat Direction Systems Activity, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center is conducting market research and seeking expressions of interest for support of AN/UYQ-70 (V) Advanced Display System and legacy combat systems, subsystems and components. The support will include supplying software, hardware, and fleet readiness for battle force interoperability through all phases of combat systems life cycle support. The services will include development of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions to obsolete components, technology development, system groom and audits, design, specification development, test and evaluation certification, operation, overhaul, restoration, maintenance improvement/modernization, and field technical support to meet navy requirements with navy acceptance. In addition, the service provider will supply technology insertion, training, configuration management, spares ordering and deployment, supply chain management, help/hot line, electronic documentation, and web based support for AN/UYQ-70 (V) Advanced Display System and legacy combat systems. A sample listing of the legacy combat systems to be supported are as follows: AN/USH-19 (V) Recorder-Reproducer Set, Signal Data, AN/USH-20 (V) Recorder-Reproducer Set, Signal Data, AN/USQ-20 (V) Data Processing Unit, AN/UYK-5 (V) Data Processing Unit, AN/USC-48 Air Borne Command and Control Computer, AN/UYK-43(V) Computer, AN/UYK-44(V) Computer, AN/UGC-13 Teletype Set w/adapter (Modification only), AN/USQ-69 (V) Data Terminal Set, AN/USQ-69B (V) Data Terminal Set, AN/UYK-20(V) Computer, AN/UYK-7(V) Computer, AN/USQ-34 Magnetic Tape Set, Interested parties having the required specialized capabilities to meet all of the above proposed requirements should submit an expression of interest/capability statement (maximum of ten (10) typed pages) indicating their ability to perform all aspects of the efforts described above. Responses must include the following: firm name, mailing address, telephone and facsimile number, internet address, size of firm, and direct point of contact including phone and e-mail address. Only written responses transmitted electronically, by mail, or facsimile will be accepted. The Government will not provide payment for any information provided in response to this synopsis, nor will the Government return any data provided. All data will be for official Government use only. The Government will not provide the data received from one responder to other potentially competitive organizations. A list of interested parties will be compiled from the firms who respond to this announcement. Firms that wish to be included on the interested parties list must be able to access the World Wide Web, send and receive unclassified e-mail, and access, download, and print solicitation documents from internet websites.
