Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M68909-02-Q-1050 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-06. This is a small business set aside, and shall be a Firm-fixed-price contract award. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 235510 with a size standard of $12.0. The contractor shall provide all parts and labor to make repairs as follows: CLIN 0001- Remove and replace trailer skirting all the way a round Buildings 37A, 38B and 35D and restore to the same color. All skirting is between 3? and 4? tall. Building 37A is 85? by 60?. It has three ladder wells and a ramp that will also need the skirting. Building 35D is 120? by 60?. It has two ladder wells and a ramp that will also need the skirting. Building 38B is 100? by 60?. It has one ladder well and a ramp that will also need the skirting. CLIN 0002- In Building 31A, remove all paneling and replace with drywall. Repair holes and paint to match trailer color. This building is approximately 12 x 30 square feet. CLIN 0003- In Building 31, remove and replace support columns as needed. Work shall be performed at Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA), Camp Pendleton, CA, no later than fifteen 15 days after contract award. There will be a site visit on _4/24/02_. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items and 52.212-2 Evaluation?Commercial Items with Alt 1, and 52.212-3 shall apply. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, delivery, and past performance. The offers shall provide names, contact points, and telephone numbers of three (3) commercial or government customers for purposes of past performance evaluation. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Term s and Conditions-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items, Subparagraphs (a), (b), (1), (5), (6), (7), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (22) and (e) apply to this acquisition and are hereby incorporated by reference.
