- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQF23606-02-T-0004. All Statement of work and Evaluation Factor must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is set-aside for small business. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001.06 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The NAICS code 333415 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 employees. The item description is as follows: Furnish the below listed parts: 1. Clockwise wheel, part number 066543203, 4 EACH 30? Fan Blower Wheel CW 2. Counter clockwise wheel, Part number 066543204, 4 EACH 30? Fan Blower Wheel, CCW 3. Aluminum wheels, FC-DW 24.5?/ Part number AL1 2 EACH 4. Aluminum blower wheel, Forward curve, 24.5? Dia, 2 EACH FWD curve, 1 11/16 in. Bore Parts are manufactured by Thermal Components Company, 9501 Dice Lane, Lenexa KS 66215. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror. Proposals are required no later than 3:00 PM CDT, 1 May 2002. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration database prior to any contract award. The proposed purchase order is 100% set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. The solicitation will be distributed on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Internet site only.
