- Description
- This is for a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a 5-year ordering period for Control Arm applicable to C-5 aircraft. Initial order for contract minimum of 11 each will be placed at time of contract award. Contract maximum quantity is 21 each. NSN 6340-00-221-1061UC, P/N: 4V11005-101D. DIM: 5.25 inch height x 5.48 inch width x 6.5 inch dept. MATL: Metal case with internal electrical components. FUNC: The spin up detector provides wheel spin up signals to energize the touchdown-spin up relays which control thrust reverser lockout and the ground spoiler handle lockout actuator. DEL: 31 October 2002 for initial order. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 3 May 2002 with an approximate response date of 3 June 2002. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to LOCKHEED MARTIN AERONAUTICS CO. (CAGE 98897), Marietta GA. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
