- NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is seeking individual design-build sources or teams for an Indefinite-Delivery Type (IDT) design-build to construct/replace and potentially renovate family housing at Mt. Home AFB, Idaho. The solicitati on is advertised in accordance with FAR 36.3 entitled ?Two Phase Design Build Selection Procedures?. There will be Phase I (pre-qualification) and Phase II (submission of technical and price proposals). The overall contract work shall consist of demoliti on of existing units, including any hazardous material abatement, and design and construction of new units and associated infrastructure. The new units will be a mixture of junior and senior NCO and officer housing and will include 2, 3 and 4 bedroom hous es and duplexes. This contract will have a 5-year base period and one 5-year option period. The estimated overall value of the contract is not to exceed $180 million. It is anticipated that task orders will be awarded annually in the range of $20-$25 m illion, replacing approximately 50 units per year. Qualification requirements for Phase I submittal will be available on or about 1 May 02 with submittals due on or about 30 May 02; Solicitation Documents available on or about 10 June 02 with proposal d ue on or about 15 July 02. In Phase II will include technical/price proposal for the contract and Task Order 1. Further information regarding the first task order will be furnished with the pre-qualification requirements. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS), and will be available to download on or about 1 May 2002 at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct. NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The website is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The NAICS code for this project is 233210 that is matched to SIC Code 1521. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUB Zone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the pu rposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28.5 million. This will be a Request for Proposal, and a fixed-price contract will be negotiated a s a result of this procurement.
