Description

Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order to Northrop Grumman Litton Advanced Systems (NGLAS) of San Jose, CA to manufacture, test, and install components to upgrade the AN/ALR-67B(V)2 Receiver. The upgrades will take the AN/ALR-67 receiver from a ?67B? configuration to a ?67E? configuration. This will include the installation and verification testing of the receiver upgrade kits, in the Spanish Navy AV-8B aircraft. NGLAS is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AN/ALR-67(V)2 Radar Warning Receiver system, as well as the subsequent engineering change proposal that the upgrade is based upon. NGLAS is the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise, tooling, and special test equipment necessary to produce the kits in a timely manner.
