Description

The Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific has a requirement for topside painting on USCGC SPAR (WLB 206), a 225' buoy tender home ported in Kodiak, Alaska. All work shall be performed on USCGC SPAR at its home berth in Kodiak. Work items will include preservation of steel superstructure and weatherdecks, etc. The period of performance is 03 JUN - 06 JUL 2002. A Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be issued on or about 15 days after publication of this notice. Potential offerors are advised that when released, the solicitation, specification and other notifications will be posted on the web at: www.eps.gov. The solicitation will be issued under the provisions of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsive sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
