- Description
- Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary to purchase and install two FLYGT 5 horsepower submersible pumps, manufactured by Vandevanter Engineering Company or equal, to replace existing units and install two stainless steel screens around intake. Remove debris in catch basin, install flex connections between pumps and piping to minimize vibrations, prevent water infiltration, and supply electrician to attach electrical supplies. Work to be accomplished in Patriots Landing housing area at Scott AFB IL 62225-5015. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Contractor shall site verify any and all dimensions and/or existing site conditions prior to the commencement of work. Commencement of work shall begin within five (5) calendar days after the receipt of the Notice to Proceed issued be the Contracting Officer. This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The Magnitude of this project is between _$25,000__ and $_100,000_. The proposed contract herein is unrestricted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS) which can be accessed at www.eps.gov./. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation and planholder list. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package and planholder list will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at www.eps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The planholder list will also be maintained on and may be printed from this web-site. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
