Description

NA Project consists of the construction of the Phase III building of the Services Complex at Grissom ARB, which includes 150 lodging rooms, maids cart rooms, guest vending, and guest laundries within a four-story structure. Construction includes exterior bri ck veneer and concrete masonry cavity walls, precast hollow core floor units, structural standing seam metal roof, and aluminum clad double hung wood windows with laminated glass, insulated units. Construction shall be complete with required utilities, st orm drainage, communications, electric, HVAC, fire protection, sidewalks, exterior building lights, and grading. Two pre-engineered picnic shelters are included as options 1 and 2 with utilities to the shelters as option 3. Work also includes replacement of 150mm and 200mm waterlines with new 250mm waterline using pipe bursting/replacement technology. The estimated construction cost range is $10 - $25 million. The approximate issue date is 10 May 02, with an approximate bid due date of 12 June 02. The contract specialist is Kim McKnight at (502) 315-6186. The project will be available on compact disc only. Project specification files will be available in portable document format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat R eader. The drawing files will be in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers will be contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements will be 486-based personal computer, Microsoft Windo ws 3.1 or greater, 8MB application RAM, 4MB hard disk space and compact disc drive.
