- N68950-02-R-3029, Reconstruct/Replace Railroad Bridge 1935 located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane IN. This RFP will be released via the Internet. All prospective offerors and plan rooms must be registered on the website. This RFP will be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the website only. Amendments will be posted on the website for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments, therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS RFP. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted to Annette Taylor via facsimile at (812) 854-3800 or e-mail to: taylor_annette@crane.navy.mil. The solicitation will be issued as a performance contract, best value basis with technical and price proposals required. As a result of this Request for Proposal, the offeror determined to be the best in ability and value to the Government will be awarded this contract. Offerors are required to submit separate technical and price proposals for the project. Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation, the known factors to date will include past performance (in similar type work), performance narrative and project schedule. Work includes provisions of necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, gauges, parts, appurtenance, and supervision necessary to prepare the design drawings and to perform all construction work requirements to Construct/Replace the Railroad Bridge 1935 to Cooper E-80 design standards, complete and ready for use. Estimated cost range is $100,000.00 - $300,000.00. Estimated completion time is 120 calendar days after award. This proposed contract is an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 234120, Bridge/Tunnel Construction. The Business Size Standard is $28.5 million. Approximate release date is unknown at this time.
