Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure four each York Marine Systems Compressors, Stock Number 4130-01-487-5141, York P/N 364-47353D024, York Drawing Number 064-47353D, refrigerant R-12, 1750 RPM rated capacity, 4 cylinders, single stage, 25 ton refrigerant flow rate, 3 gallon oil charge, 3.2 IN stroke, 3.750 inch bore, vertical, hermetic type, 300,000 BTU/HR capacity. Compressors are used on the Reefer Systems installed onboard the 378? WHEC Coast Guard cutters. Compressors shall be individually preserved, packaged and marked in accordance with Coast Guard specifications. The Coast Guard did NOT procure data rights to any technical and engineering data or drawings therefore no additional information is available. It is the Government?s belief that only York Marine Systems, and/or their authorized distributors, can supply these Compressors and guarantee compatibility of form, fit, and function with existing Reefer Systems. Only York Marine Systems and/or their authorized distributors shall be solicited. No alternate or substitute part numbers shall be considered for this procurement. Sources that can supply the part number indicated may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Delivery is required no later than four (4) weeks after the date of award (or sooner). Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination. Three compressors shall be delivered to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. One compressor shall be direct delivered to the USCGC DALLAS, C/O USCG Vessel Support Facility, 1050 Osprey Street, N. Charleston, SC 29405. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Number DTCG40-02-Q-50094 shall be posted on FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov for download and shall be available on or about 20 April 2002. Hard copies of the solicitation package shall not be issued from this office. The due date for submission of quotations shall be no later than 27 April 2002. Quotations submitted via email shall NOT be accepted. Faxed quotations shall be permitted. See Numbered Notes 12 and 22. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and TAM 1206.302. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. The following statement is for information purposes only: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
