Description
This is for a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a 2-year ordering period for Resistor Switch Assembly applicable to C-5 aircraft. Initial order for contract minimum of 3 each will be placed at time of contract award. Contract maximum quantity is 9 each. NSN 6615-00-122-8210UC, P/N: 1993537-2. DIM: 1 inch height x 1 inch width x 4 inch depth; weight 6 ounces. MATL: Aluminum shaft and plastic knob. FUNC: Provides trim control for introducing manual trim inputs to the yaw augmentation subsystem. DEL: 31 January 2003 for initial order. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 7 May 2002 with an approximate response date of 7 June 2002. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to PARKER HANNIFIN (CAGE 59211), Irvine, CA or HONEYWELL SENSOR AND GUIDANCE PRODUCTS (CAGE 94580), Minneapolis, MN. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
