Description

NA This is a sources sought synopsis to help identify potential small business contractors that have the capability and financial resources to accomplish the following requirements. The contractor will be required to provide resources and management necessar y to perform tasks in support of the Materiel Management Center missions and functions. Materiel management missions are to advise, assist, and support the Theater Support Command Commander in all matters pertaining to coordination, definition, and execut ion of the MMC mission to support the material management mission for Fort Irwin. Work includes, but is not limited to, all automation network maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and support to the Theater Support Command (TSC) and MMC, logistical ser vices and support of STAMIS systems, and its successor, to Installation units, rotational units and AR 5-9 units as required, and manage the Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP) for Ft Irwin, and Fuels Automated System (FAS) and Rotational Billing System (RBS) for MMC. The estimated contract value (base year plus four option years) is expected to be approximately $4M. The FSC or Service Code is D301, ADP Facility Operation & Maintenance Services, and the North American Industry Classification Syste m (NAICS) Code is 541519, Other Computer Related Services (SIC 7379 Computer Related Services, NEC). THE GOVERNMENT IS INTERESTED IN DETERMINING MARKET AVAILABILITY FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS WITH THE PERFORMANCE AND FINANCIAL CAPABILITY TO HANDLE THE RE QUIREMENT. INFORMATION IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN INVITATION FOR BID OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, NOR IS IT CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. A MARKET SURVEY HAS BEEN DEVELOPED BY FORT IRWIN TO DET ERMINE THE CAPABILITY AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO SUCCESSFULLY PROVIDETHE REQUIRED LOGISTICS SUPPORT SERVICES. THE SET-ASIDE STATUS IS STILL TO BE DETERMINED.
