Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) NO. 221058. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 5021 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 337214. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commerical, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. The Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order to acquire the following: Quantity 33 Pre-owned Herman Miller EthoSpace 6- foot by 8-foot workstations. Each workstation will consist of Qty. 1 Part No. 2210.3048L - 48 by 30 workspace, Qty. 1 - Part No. E2210.302210.3024L- 24 by 30 workspace, Qty. 1 Part No. 2232.3048L- 48 by 48 corner workspace, Qty. 2 Part No. E110.7048E - 70 by 48 panel, Qty.1- Part No. E110.7048E - 70 by 48 panel, Qty.2 Part No. E110.7024E-70 by 24 panel, Qty 1- Part No.160-1524-F Pedestal, and Qty.-1 Part No. E311048F Over head Rack. The furniture must be in like new condition. The price shall include delivery and installation of the workstations. The workstations shall be delivered and installed at Food and Drug Administration, 1000 2nd Avenue, Suite 2400, Seattle, WA 98104. Delivery and installation shall be with-in 30 days after award of purchase order. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirement shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this requirement. Evaluation/Award will be based on the acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government. The Government reserves the right to conduct a pre-award inspection of the furniture to determine whether the items are of acceptable quality.
