- Description
- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to perform waterfront rehab at USCG Station Michigan City, IN. Work includes but is not limited to: A. Demolish and remove approximately 30 cy of existing concrete pavement; B. Remove approximately 22 ft of existing fence; C. Remove existing station signs and store for reinstallation after construction is complete; D. Remove existing 7-pile cluster; E. Remove (4) 12 inch dia. Timber piles; F. Remove approximately 35 lf of existing handrail; G. Remove existing 10x12 timber curbing; H. Install approximately 90 lf of new PZ-27 sheet piling; I. Install new reinforced concrete pavement (approximately 35 cy); J. Install approx. 41 lf of new fencing; K. Install new 64 ft long floating dock system and gangway; L. Install new 3-pile cluster; M. Install approx. 30 lf of new steel handrail; N. Remove existing 60 A Shore-tie and install new 100A shore-tie; and O. Install new stanchion and light fixture. Additive Work Item: Install new conduit from existing panel box to new 100A Shore-tie. Unit Work Items: A. Install additional 1 cy of aggregate stone fill; and B. Install additional 1 cy of aggregate base course. The NAICS is 234930 (SIC Code 1629) size standard $27.5M. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The estimated range is $250K - $500K. Period of Performance - 180 calendar days from NTP. The bids will be due o/a 06/07/02. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Demonstration Act. However, FAR Clause 52.219-23 Notice of Price Adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns and 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation for HUBZone Small Business Concerns may be applicable (This clause allows a price adjustment factor for small disadvantaged business concerns.
