Description

The 38 EIG/PKK intends to extend the current Communication Service Authorization (CSA) on a sole source basis local telephone service for Offutt AFB NE. The intended contractor is Qwest Corporation. The contractor shall continue to provide the existing service. The period of performance shall be 10 months from the current expiration date of 21 Apr 02 or until the new competitive contract is in-place. The primary place of performance will be Offutt AFB NE. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). A competitive solicitation has been issued but service with Qwest Corporation must continue until the new contract is awarded. The Government intends to extend the current Communication Service Authorization (CSA) written against Basic Agreement DCA20090H0002. Note 22.
