Description

The 89th Contracting Squadron at Andrews AFB intends to issue and post on the Internet at (http:// www.eps.gov) a solicitation, on or about 1 May 2002 for the Leasing of two 2001 year model or newer diesel powered Commercial Shutter Buses. The buses will shuttle passengers between the Andrews passenger terminal and departing/arriving aircraft. Buses must be manufactured in accordance with all State of Maryland, the United States Department of Transportation, Interstate Commerce Commission Regulations and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. A site visit will be held on or about 10 May 2002. Actually date, time and location for site visit will be posted in the solicitation. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. Solicitations must be downloaded from the above website. No written solicitations will be issued. All information required for submission of an offer will be included in the solicitation. We do not issue receipts for your offer. Any questions concerning this notice shall be sent via fax or e-mail. The government is contemplating a contract for the basic period and two one-year option periods. The Government reserves the right not to exercise the options. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for proposal preparation cost.
