- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation FQ500420360500 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS code 484110, which has a small business size standard of $21.5 million. The requirement consists of the following, (CLIN #, Quantity and Unit of Issue, Description;) 0001, Basic contract period 1 June 02-30 Sep 02, delivery from contractors water source, delivery of Estimated 33,200 gallons per month, services, non-personal-Water transportation, provide price per gallon. 0002 Basic contract period 1 June 02-30 Sep 02, delivery from Eielson water source, delivery of estimated 33,200 gallons of water per month, services non-personal- water transportation, provide price per gallon. 0003 Emergency delivery calls. (3 Hr. response time) 1001 Option year one-1 Oct 03-30 Sep 03. Contractor?s water source. 1002 Option year one-1 Oct 03-30 Sep 03. Eielson water source. 1003 Option year one-Emergency calls. 2001 Option year two-1 Oct 04-30 Sep 04. Contractors water source. 2002 Option year two-1 Oct 04-30 Sep 04. Eielson Water source. 2003 Option year two-Emergency calls. 3001 Option year three-1 Oct 05-30 Sep 05 Contractors water source. 3002 Option year three-1 Oct 05-30 sep 05 Eielson water source. 3003 Option year three-Emergency calls. Anticipate award of base plus 3 option years purchase order. Quantity will remain the same for the option years. Please provide quote accordingly. IAW the following statement of work: Contractor will provide vehicle and driver to haul and deliver potable water to the areas listed below and any other area that may require potable water in an emergency. Deliveries will occur on an as needed basis. The contractor will receive no less than 24-hours notice for routine and non-routine deliveries. Routine deliveries will occur during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Non-routine deliveries may occur after normal business hours, weekends, or holidays. Vendor will respond within 3-hours for emergency calls. For any deliveries to multiple locations, contractor will deliver water from their properly registered and operated public water system source. Contractor may re-fill their delivery vehicle from designated locations on Eielson AFB. Contractor will provide government with copies of their monthly analytical reports submitted to the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. Delivery charges will reflect cost per gallon from contractor's normal public water system source and cost per gallon for re-fills from designated locations on Eielson AFB.
